STARS Dale Boulevard / Rippon Boulevard Corridor Study Alternatives
VDOT NOVA District has prioritized the Dale Boulevard/Rippon Boulevard corridor for a Strategically Targeted and Affordable Roadway Solutions (STARS) study in response to safety concerns related to motorist weaving at the Dale Boulevard/I-95 Interchange and accommodations for people walking and biking. The study will evaluate multimodal conditions for people walking, biking, and driving along Dale Boulevard and Rippon Boulevard between Gideon Drive and Blackburn Road in Prince William County, VA. It will generate near-term solutions to help resolve current transportation issues and support the County’s vision and goals for the area. The study vision, goals, and recommendations will be vetted through a robust alternatives analysis process and include opportunities for community input. A future study will evaluate the detailed benefits, impacts, and costs of reconfiguring the full Dale Boulevard/I-95 Interchange.
