Traffic safety planning
We're working to reduce crashes and make it easier to walk, bike, drive and roll safely in unincorporated King County.
We asked for your input on roads or intersections where you feel unsafe. Your input will help us understand where we can improve traffic safety across the county. It also helps us apply for grants for safety improvement projects. Community responses were collected through September 30, 2025. Your answers were anonymous, and we will share the results in early 2026. For more information, please visit the project website.

Are there any roads, intersections or areas where you feel unsafe walking, biking, rolling or driving?
Tell us where and why. The more detail, the better! You can either drop a pin on the map or skip the map and write your comments in the box below it.
To drop a pin on the map:
1. Find the spot you want to comment on by zooming in on the map using your mouse or the + and – buttons.
2. Click and drag one of the pins at the top of the map to that location.
3. In the comment box, tell us what’s happening there and why it matters.
4. Click the “Comment” button to submit.
Example:
If you want to report unsafe driving at the intersection of Main Street and 16th Avenue:
1. Zoom in on that intersection.
2. Drag the blue “Unsafe driving” pin to the spot.
3. Write a comment like: “This intersection feels dangerous because drivers don’t stop for people crossing.”
4. Click “Comment” to send it.

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 says King County needs to collect information about people who use our programs and projects.
