Tununak: DOT&PF Emergency Repair Work

DOT&PF is providing updates for each community and has built tools to report damages and request assistance. This page will help you see real-time updates in your community for infrastructure repairs & road access, water & sanitation status, and local recovery progress & resources.

Reporting Damage: If your home, property, or infrastructure was damaged, please report it using our Damage Assessment Hub at: https://damage-assessment-2-akdot.hub.arcgis.com

Need materials or assistance: If your community hasn’t connected with DOT&PF yet, reach out to dot.ask@alaska.gov - we’ll help coordinate approvals and connect you to supplies quickly.

Tununak Operations Summary

2/22/26

  • Brice: Continued hauling material for coastline erosion repair. Will be completed by Monday, 2/23/26.

2/19/26

  • Brice: Continued hauling material for coastline erosion repair. Will be completed by Monday, 2/23/26. 

2/16/26

  • Brice: Continued hauling material after completing snow removal from previous days blizzard. 

Facilities Daily Report

  • UICC had crew in Tununak on 11/24 to inspect electrical needs (transfer switch) at LKSD buildings. All systems were reported to be operating appropriately.
