1. Braddock District: Over the years, residents have expressed concerns about speeding traffic on Heming Avenue. One contributing factor to that problem is Heming Avenue's wide travel lanes. FCDOT proposes to narrow the travel lanes by adding bike lanes between Braddock Road and Heming Place per the Countywide Bicycle Master Plan. Unfortunately, Heming Avenue is not wide enough to add bike lanes without repurposing street parking. FCDOT completed a street parking study and found that most street parking was underused for most blocks. Please rank the following options in order of preference.

To ensure that parked vehicles do not obstruct a driver's view of a person using the crosswalk per VDOT's requirement, FCDOT proposes to restrict street parking in yellow. Six spaces on southbound side of street and two spaces on northbound side of the street would be removed.
