East Austin Parking: Community survey questions
East Austin Parking: Community survey questions
The City of Austin passed an ordinance to install paid on-street parking in East Austin in 2015. The City is considering expanding paid parking into additional areas of the East Cesar Chavez neighborhood to improve street parking availability. This expansion would primarily include hybrid zones that would allow residents to park free through the Residential Permit Parking (RPP) program while requiring members of the public to pay for parking. For more information, visit the City's website, email parking@austintexas.gov or call 512-974-1563.
