Survey on Handling Immigration Matters
Survey on Handling Immigration Matters
OLEO is not part of the Sheriff's Office, we investigate complaints about the Sheriff’s Office and review and recommend changes to Sheriff’s Office policies and practices. As an independent agency of King County, we represent the interests of the public by holding the King County Sheriff's Office accountable for providing fair and just police services.
Purpose of this survey: One of OLEO’s responsibilities is to review and recommend changes to the King County Sheriff’s Office policies, practices, and trainings. Based on input from community stakeholders, OLEO is reviewing the Sheriff's Office policies and practices on handling immigration matters. To inform this work, OLEO wants to hear from the King County community to understand your experiences, priorities, and recommendations.
While we acknowledge that there are numerous stakeholders in King County who can take steps to address concerns related to federal immigration enforcement within our communities, this survey will focus specifically on the roles and actions of the King County Sheriff’s Office.
A Spanish language version is available here: Encuesta sobre la gestión de asuntos de inmigración - PublicInput.
This survey is completely anonymous, and identifying data will not be shared with law enforcement.
