Project Pipeline is a performance-based planning program to identify cost-effective solutions to multimodal transportation needs in Virginia. Through this planning process, projects and solutions may be considered for funding through programs, including SMART SCALE, revenue sharing, interstate funding and others.

Background

The purpose of this study is to compile and analyze data related to VTrans needs that have been identified along the Route 208 (Courthouse Road) corridor between Bloomsbury Lane and Woodland Drive and to produce recommended improvements. Emphasis should be placed on the higher priority needs locations. Based on the evaluatons, preferred alternatives will be identified and investment strategies for funding those alternatives will be developed.
