Background

This study examines current and future traffic and safety concerns along Fall Hill Avenue, between Mary Washington Boulevard and Germania Street/Washington Avenue, to find cost-effective ways to enhance safety, improve road capacity, and provide better access for all road users, including bicyclists and pedestrians.

This Phase 2 survey is intended to obtain public input on the alternatives under consideration to address the issues outlined above.  Your feedback will help local leaders decide whether to pursue future funding opportunities.  Thank you for your input.

Public Information Meeting

In addition to gathering feedback through this online survey, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), in partnership with the City of Fredericksburg, is holding a public information meeting to share potential improvements proposed by this Project Pipeline study. The meeting will be held in an open house format, and staff will be available to answer questions.
