Route 684 (Mine Road) - Stafford County
Route 684 (Mine Road) - Stafford County
The purpose of this study is to analyze the safety and multimodal issues identified along Route 684 (Mine Road) from Juggins Road Connector to Exeter Lane, with a focus on providing safety improvements, transportation demand management (TDM), and bicycle, pedestrian, and transit access. There are gaps in the existing study area bicycle and pedestrian networks, and Mine Road is a Statewide Top 5% corridor in the VDOT Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Action Plan. The objective of this study is to identify cost-effective preferred improvement alternatives that address the documented needs.
Project Pipeline is a performance-based planning program to identify cost-effective solutions to multimodal transportation needs in Virginia. Through this planning process, projects and solutions may be considered for funding through programs, including SMART SCALE, revenue sharing, interstate funding and others.
