Background
The purpose of this study is to identify project recommendations for the Route 684 (Mine Road) corridor from Juggins Road Connector to Exeter Lane in Stafford County. This study will focus on providing safety improvements, transportation demand management (TDM), and bicycle, pedestrian, and transit access. There are gaps in the existing study area bicycle and pedestrian networks, and Mine Road is a Statewide Top 5 percent corridor in the VDOT Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Action Plan. The project recommendations that come from this study will be developed into funding applications for VDOT's SMART SCALE program and other transportation funding programs.
This Phase 2 survey is intended to obtain public input on the alternatives under consideration to address the issues outlined above. Your feedback will help local leaders decide whether to pursue future funding opportunities. Thank you for your input.
