Background

This Project Pipeline study considers a variety of ideas to improve operations and safety on Route 17 from Massaponax Church Road to the Caroline County line. The study examines current and future traffic and safety concerns along the Route 17 corridor to find cost-effective ways to enhance safety, improve roadway capacity, and provide better access for all road users, including bicyclists and pedestrians.

This Phase 2 survey is intended to obtain public input on the alternatives under consideration to address the issues outlined above. Your feedback will help your local leaders decide whether to pursue future funding opportunities. Thank you for your input.
