We're planning for the next ten years of public transit in Ventura County.

The Short Range Transit Plan (SRTP) will examine the operating and capital financial needs and explore improvements that could be made under different funding scenarios.

Purposes:

  • Understand the impacts of varying funding levels for each operator.
  • Engage the community to understand their preferences and priorities for service improvements and changes.
  • Develop actionable strategies to improve service and the experience for riders.
  • Attract new riders.

Participating transit agencies:

Camarillo Area Transit, Connect Intercity Dial-a-Ride, Kanan Shuttle, Moorpark City Transit, Ojai Trolley, Simi Valley Transit, Thousand Oaks Transit, VCTC Intercity and Valley Express.
