Kasigluk: DOT&PF Emergency Repair Log

DOT&PF is providing updates for each community and has built tools to report damages and request assistance. This page will help you see real-time updates in your community for infrastructure repairs & road access, water & sanitation status, and local recovery progress & resources.

Kasigluk Operations Summary

4/13/26

  • Horizontal work is complete. 

4/10/26

  • Work is near complete in Kasigluk. Surplus material is left in old Kasigluk at location of boardwalk repairs. Four-five bunks were delivered to new Kasigluk and placed near the Airport SREB. 

4/07/26

  • Mass-X crew installing piles and constructing boardwalks. 

4/05/26

  • Mass-X crew working on removing snow and boardwalk demo. 

4/01/26

  • Mass-X crew working on removing snow and boardwalk demo. 

3/31/26

  • Mass-X crew working on removing snow and boardwalk demo. 

3/29/26

  • Mass-X crew completed snow removal and demo. Currently taking inventory of their construction materials and trying to recover the delivered lumber from under snowdrifts - crews intend to begin driving helicals by next week. 

3/28/26

  • Mass X got a skid steer hauled over to Kasigluk to finish the last portion of snow removal from around the damaged sections of boardwalk - crews intend to begin driving helicals by next week.

  • Mass-X got a skid steer hauled over to Kasigluk to finish the last portion of snow removal from around the damaged sections of boardwalk - crews intend to begin driving helicals by next week.

  • Mass-X continued to dig out boardwalk repair locations and boardwalk materials that have been drifted over.

  • Loader is back up and operational. Continuing to remove snow.
