This segment completes the middle section of a 9.9-mile rail trail between downtown Franklinton and Louisburg. This project will link the existing Louisburg Bike Trail (2.2 miles) to the approximately 3 mile future rail trail that will run from downtown Franklinton to the Novozymes Industrial Park. This project shown "in development" on the map has funding slated by NCDOT.
