High Country Transit Survey
High Country Transit Survey
Welcome!
NCDOT and the High Country Council of Governments are studying transit in 7 High Country counties: Yancey, Mitchell, Avery, Watauga, Ashe, Alleghany, and Wilkes. The goal of this study is to coordinate planning across counties and build transit partnerships for the region. Please help improve our transportation options by responding to this survey.
Your responses are anonymous and will only be used to help inform and improve transportation options for your community.
Purpose
The purpose of this survey is to understand how people in the High Country use public transportation, and if there are opportunities to help transit users access regional destinations.
Who is it for?
This survey is for everyone who lives, works or goes to school in the North Carolina counties of Yancey, Mitchell, Avery, Watauga, Ashe, Alleghany, or Wilkes.
What will we do with this information?
Your input will be used to create a High Country Regional Transit Plan that identifies needs, opportunities, and recommended actions for future improvements to transit and transportation in area.
