Study Purpose

The interchange will soon reach its useful design life and therefore needs to be replaced. The need for replacement has led to a study assessing whether replacement is the best option and identify other viable alternatives.

Study Goals

  • Reduce short- and long-term maintenance costs
  • Free up excess land for ecoomic development opportunities
  • Rightsize infrastructure
  • Improve access for all modes of travel
  • Provide a gateway into the Region
