STARS I-95 / I-85 Interchange Study Alternatives
The purpose of this STARS (Strategically Targeted Affordable Roadway Solutions) study is to identify a cohesive suite of improvements along the I-95 corridor from Crater Road/US Route 460 (Exit 50) to Southpark Boulevard (Exit 53). The study is developing and evaluating projects that will improve pedestrian and vehicular access, improve safety, reduce congestion, and improve transit access. The study is also evaluating the feasibility of converting Washington Street and Wythe Street from one-way to two-way in Downtown Petersburg.
