Sammamish Plateau Community Values Survey
For over 50 years, King County Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) has collected and cleaned wastewater for the Puget Sound region. Operating a regional system allows WTD flexibility to adapt our service to meet community needs as our region grows. Now, WTD is working to send more wastewater flows from the growing Eastside to Brightwater Treatment Plant in Woodinville. The Sammamish Plateau Diversion Project will help make that happen.
Our team is currently doing a lot of research as we develop project options. As part of this work, you may see teams in the field carrying out research. These activities may create temporary traffic delays or other disruptions in the project area. Eventually, your community will see a larger scale construction project that will have impacts in the area.
Let us know how we can serve you!
As we get started working together, the project team would like to know about your community and how best to work with you throughout the life of the project. We know that large construction projects can be stressful. As we plan for this project, we want to know what is important to you and how we can best work with you.
We invite you to complete our community survey by mid-December, 2024. We expect that this survey will take about 10 minutes. The information you provide will help us know more about you and your community. We would like to learn how you interact with this area and hear about your values and concerns.
