Online Comment Form
This comment form must be submitted by April 21, 2025, to be included in the public record for these meetings.
1. Do you believe changes should be made to this section of I-495 to improve travel in the next 5 to 10 years?
2. Express lanes provide faster and more reliable travel through dynamic tolling to manage demand for the lanes and keep traffic free-flowing. Vehicles with 3 or more people and buses can travel toll-free, while others can choose to pay a toll, for a quicker and more predictable trip on the lanes.
3. If express lanes were built in this section of I-495, how attractive are the following elements to you?
4. If express lanes were added to this section of I-495, how likely would you be to use this section of I-495 in each of the following ways?
5. Are you aware that the Woodrow Wilson Memorial Bridge, which opened in 2008, includes space, not currently in use, but dedicated for HOV, express bus, or rail transit lanes?
6. To what extent do you support or not support each of the following being done with the currently unused space on the Woodrow Wilson Memorial Bridge?
7. Please share any additional information that you believe will assist VDOT in further developing this study.
