STARS Lynnhaven Parkway Corridor Study Alternatives
This STARS (Strategically Targeted Affordable Roadway Solutions) study is assessing the operational and safety conditions on Lynnhaven Parkway from Virginia Beach Boulevard to Sabre Street to identify and recommend improvements that can be incorporated into the Virginia Department of Transportation’s Six-Year Improvement Program (SYIP). The goal of this study is to develop a series of solutions to address the arterial congestion and safety concerns along the corridor that have been identified during peak travel periods including delays and queueing along Lynnhaven Parkway northbound approaching I-264 and intersecting streets and improve safety associated with the stop and go traffic conditions along the corridor.
