This purpose of this survey is to evaluate potential improvements at the intersection of US 60 (Midlothian Turnpike) and Woolridge Road/Old Buckingham Road in Midlothian, Chesterfield County, Virginia. The study limits include the intersections of US 60 at Woolridge Road/Old Buckingham Road and Woolridge Road at Walton Park Road/Coalfield Station Lane. US 60 (Midlothian Turnpike) is a part of the Virginia Department of Transportation’s (VDOT) Arterial Preservation Network, and the subject intersection has been ranked high on the VDOT Richmond District’s potential for safety improvement rankings.
This survey is intended to obtain public input on the alternatives under consideration to address the issues identified by the study team.
Note: This is a planning level study. The proposed roadway modifications in this survey are not final and have not received funding for construction.
