Project Overview

The N.C. Department of Transportation is proposing intersection improvements at Nash Street (N.C. 58), Airport Boulevard (S.R. 1320) and Lake Wilson Road (S.R. 1332) to improve mobility and safety for motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians. The project will improve the intersection by adding turn lanes and bicycle and pedestrian accommodations. U-6111 is an intersection improvement project led by the N.C. Department of Transportation Division 4 in coordination with the City of Wilson.
