New Bern Area MPO Local Input Prioritization

The New Bern Area MPO is requesting public feedback on projects submitted for NCDOT Prioritization. The Prioritization process scores and programs transportation projects across the state for funding. Part of the scoring process includes local priority, allowing you to rank projects higher or lower in priority than others for potential development. Projects were divided into Highway or Bike and Pedestrian categories. Projects that score well enough across the state are included in the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).

Please rank the projects with top priority at the top and lowest priority at the bottom. Questions regarding projects can be directed to Abby McClay with the New Bern Area MPO by calling 252-639-7593 or emailing mcclay.abigail@newbernnc.gov. The survey is open from June 1 to August 1, 2026.
