Neuse River Park Planning Process
Neuse River Park Schematic Design Survey Now Open!
We are in the schematic design phase for Neuse River Park, where the design team is refining the park’s layout, amenities, river access, trails, nature play elements, and gathering spaces based on the approved master plan.
The online community survey and online open house are now live and will be available December 16–29. This is your chance to review the draft schematic design and share your feedback.
In addition, an in-person open house will be held on December 17 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Abbotts Creek Community Center, and we will be tabling along the greenway on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning to share information and answer questions.
Take the survey linked below and check out more details about the in-person event right below!
Community feedback will help finalize the schematic design, after which detailed cost estimates will be developed and Phase One elements identified. Updates will be shared with the CAG in February and with the Parks Committee and Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board in April.
