Daily Activities

• Water is turned back on to one building in school housing. Crews continue to find and repair burst pipes. 
• Completed insulation and sheathing on the first school housing building; finalized demolition and debris removal on the second unit. 
• Installed Toyo in house 98. It is operational and running. 
• Finalized Tyvek installation and sheathing on Building 62. 
• Continued structural drying operations in previously demolished areas. 
• Provided assistance to the city in insulating a temporary sewer pipe. 
• A total of five team members are currently on-site.

• Identified a burst pipe beneath the school; work was paused and the school representative was notified. 
• Provided assistance to the city in insulating a temporary sewer pipe.

Daily Activities 

• Worked on repairing the boardwalk and handrails at the School Housing. 
• UICN crew finsihed floor sheathing and floor insulation on building 96. 
• The generator and heater were moved to building 23, and the owner received a CO2 monitor and fire extinguisher. 
• Working on installing floor insulation, vapor barrier, and sheathing on building 23, reaching 75% completion. 
• Fixed gas lines for AVCP on buildings 47 and 42. 
• Finished sheathing for the floor insulation on buildings 23 and 97. 
• Finished insulation, vapor barrier, and sheathing on the underbelly of building 62. 
• A total of 5 UICN team members are currently on-site.

• UIC Construction repairing flood-damaged homes (re-leveling, drying, sheathing, temp floor/foundation fixes).
• Knik Construction mobilizing to restore airport access road; import fill and rebuild embankment.
• Local village corporation subcontracted for gravel supply to speed repairs.
• Scope refined per community feedback; added protections for road and nearby homes.
• Materials (lumber, culverts, fuel) arriving; Toyo stoves being installed to restore heating.
• Goal: complete road restoration and critical home fixes before deeper winter.
• Knik secured equipment and gravel source in Napakiak; airport access road repairs underway.

• UICN completing the vapor barrier installation on house 21 and will be moving to house 47 to start installation of the floor insulation and vapor barrier.
• House 48 is scheduled after completion of house 47.
• Forestry is currently staging the plywood at residences throughout where we will back-track & install once hardware arrives “Saturday.”
• DOTPF providing prioritized shipment of UICN connex that includes materials and highly needed Toyo stoves that had been stuck logistically in Bethel.
• UICN will begin working on Toyo installations as soon as they have the units on site.

• DOT&PF personnel made aware of possible humanitarian issues in Napaskiak and Oscarville that are being assessed.
