This plan must be updated every six years.

The King County Open Space Plan presents King County's inventory of parks, trails, natural areas, and other recreation facilities and how we conduct our business - from acquiring land to cultivating partnerships to incorporating principles of equity and social justice into our investments.

The 2020-2025 King County Parks, Recreation, Trails, and Open Space Levy funds King County Parks to operate, maintain, and invest in the system, consistent with the themes and policies outlined in the Parks, Trails, and Open Space Plan.
