Pond Dredging - Park Road Park & Freedom Park
Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation will be draining/dredging the pond at Freedom Park and hydraulically dredging the pond at Park Road Park to remove sediment, trash, and debris to improve water quality and public safety. This Park Road Park dredging project will begin first and then the Freedom Park dredging project will follow. The parks shall remain open during these projects, and you are asked to avoid these areas of active dredging operations.

- Dredging starting in March 2025.
