Eastbound I-80 from Salt Lake International Airport Exit

Crews are expected to begin bridge rehabilitation on eastbound I-80 from the Salt Lake International Airport exit on Friday, April 26, and continue through mid-May.

• Intermittent lane closures continuous through mid-May
• Possible delays while traveling through the area

SR-202 over I-80 near Saltair

SR-202 over I-80 bridge near Saltair is scheduled to be closed starting Sunday, April 28, for bridge reconstruction activities and will reopen in early May.

• Traffic access on the bridge will be fill restricted
• Follow posted detour

Redwood Road over I-80



Nightly lane shifts are expected on Redwood Road over I-80 and will continue until mid-May for bridge construction activities.

• Intermittent lane shifts between 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• Take alternate routes if possible
• Noise, dust, vibration, and night lighting in the area

Bangerter Highway (SR-154) over SR-201



Bangerter Highway bridge over SR-201 is scheduled to be closed on Friday, May 3 (8 p.m.) through Monday, May 6 (5 a.m.) for bridge construction.

• Intermittent lane restrictions on Bangerter Highway will also take place on Thursday, May 2, during nighttime hours.
• Follow posted detours and anticipate delays while traveling through the area.
• Nearby residents and businesses may experience increased noise, dust, vibration, and lighting.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will rehabilitate 19 bridges throughout Salt Lake County over Interstate 80 (i-80), Bangerter Highway (UT-154), Redwood Road (SR-68), and State Route 202 (SR-202). The locations include:
