Coordinated Public Transit Human Services Transportation Plan 2026, Genesee Finger Lakes Region, Rider Survey
Coordinated Public Transit Human Services Transportation Plan 2026, Genesee Finger Lakes Region, Rider Survey
The Genesee Transportation Council is asking riders who depend on publicly funded transportation services for rides to medical appointments, school, work, etc. for their input. Responses will provide critical insight into the experiences and needs of riders across the Genesee/Finger Lakes Region. If you are, or are assisting someone who is, an older adult, a person with a disability, or a person who earns a low income and relies on the public bus system or a human service agency for transportation, please complete the Rider Survey publicinput.com/ridersurvey2025 by November 26.
The Genesee Transportation Council will use this feedback to help guide how federal funding is used to support paratransit vehicles and other programs that improve mobility in the nine-county Genesee/Finger Lakes Region.
This survey is part of the Genesee Transportation Council’s work to update its Coordinated Public Transit Human Services Transportation Plan for the nine-county Genesee Finger Lakes Region. The purpose of the plan is to assess the transportation needs of elderly residents and those who have a disability affecting their mobility. The Coordinated Plan is a requirement for local transportation providers to receive Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding for vehicle replacements and service improvements.
