This STARS (Strategically Targeted Affordable Roadway Solutions) study is assessing safety and operational conditions along the Route 17 corridor between Short Lane and Featherbed Lane to identify and propose improvements that can be incorporated into the Virginia Department of Transportation’s (VDOT) Six-Year Improvement Plan (SYIP). The purpose of the survey is to seek the public’s input on the alternatives under consideration to improve safety and traffic operations.
