Ladysmith Road at I-95 Exit 110 STARS Study

 

This STARS (Strategically Targeted Affordable Roadway Solutions) study assesses potential safety and operational improvements for Ladysmith Road near the I-95 Exit 110 interchange. The study corridor has been identified as a location requiring safety improvements per the 2023 VTrans Mid-Term Needs and Priorities and the 2019 VTrans Prioritized Mid-Term Needs. Additionally, the I-95 southbound (SB) off-ramp to Ladysmith Road westbound (WB) presents challenging merging conditions due to its existing geometry. The Ladysmith Road at I-95 Exit 110 STARS Study aims to evaluate these needs, with a primary focus on the I-95 interchange, and develop medium- and long-term solutions to address safety concerns while accommodating future traffic demand.
