STARS Route 653 N. Courthouse Road Corridor Study Alternatives

This STARS (Strategically Targeted Affordable Roadway Solutions) study is assessing potential safety and operational conditions for Route 653 (N Courthouse Road) between Southlake Boulevard and Horners Run (just south of Hull Street) in Chesterfield County. The goal of this study will be to develop a series of medium and long-term solutions to address the arterial congestion and safety concerns along the corridor. As a follow-up to the first survey held in June 2023 to identify the needs of this corridor, VDOT created a second survey to solicit feedback on the potential solutions developed based on the needs and existing issues identified in the first survey.
