DCPS Afterschool - Family Survey - Secondary Schools - English
Last year, DCPS released its next strategic plan- our Capital Commitment- which guides our work through 2028. One focus of that plan is to provide safe and engaging programs for students and we know that afterschool programming is an essential part of that work.
As part of the strategic plan’s work, the district is exploring standardizing afterschool offerings across all of our schools. This includes school-based clubs and athletics as well as programming managed by DCPS or community partners.
We hope to learn more about your family’s experience with afterschool programs to better understand how we can best serve students during the critical hours that follow dismissal from the traditional school day.

About your student
Different students often have different experiences in the same school. If you have more than one student in a school, we ask that you focus on the experience of just one student per survey. If you have students in multiple DCPS schools and would like to provide feedback for each, please take the survey once for each school.
