Winston-Salem Area TPO: Division Needs Project Prioritization
Winston-Salem Area TPO: Division Needs Project Prioritization
Introduction: Prioritization is a biennial process where transportation projects from each planning area compete for state and federal funding across North Carolina. Projects are funded at three levels: (1) Statewide Mobility; (2) Regional Impact; and (3) Division Needs.
Statewide Mobility and Regional Impact project selection are complete. Across the two stages, six (6) projects were picked up for funding in the 2028-2037 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).
Division Needs project selection is currently underway.
