11/07/2025 Nome Teller Road
Emergency repairs essentially complete; full travel restored.
Grading/compaction, debris clearing, drainage dredging completed; shoreline riprap installed where needed.
Minor punch-list items remain; routine monitoring/maintenance going forward.
11/07/2025 Nome Council Highway
All storm repairs complete; road fully open.
Major fixes at MP 16.2 (road prism rebuild, rock armor) and at MPs 22 & 24 (grade restoration, compaction).
Monitoring mode only; standard winter maintenance ahead.

- Nome-Teller: Scarifying and clearing road of ice. Staff are still in the field, so no photos this evening. According to Tumet the plan is still to get equipment in to Teller by tomorrow and produce borrow in the pit. Current plans will have work completed by Monday.
- Nome-Council: Tumet finished hauling all borrow early afternoon. Started Geotextile at MP 16.2 and rock placement. If the rock placement isn't completed tonight it will be by early tomorrow.
