DOT&PF is providing updates for each community and has built tools to report damages and request assistance. This page will help you see real-time updates in your community for infrastructure repairs & road access, water & sanitation status, and local recovery progress & resources.

Brice: Covered exposed septic system, and packing the remaining debris.

Brice: Contractor demolishing last big section of building. The section is twice wider than all previous section, to demolition process will take more time than previous section because excavator can't reach all walls from one side and will have to move equipment around perimeter of the building. No other issue, everything is going normal.

Brice: Continue demo of Roadhouse. Fencing crew has been attempting to get to St. Mary’s without success yet, hopefully tomorrow. Materials are onsite.

Brice: Current weather conditions, temperature -12F, wind 24 mph, with wind chill @ -40F. Roof of the building partly collapsed, but no debris blown onto the airfield. The contractor performed no work.

Brice has removed the framing under the East addition of the kitchen and has that area cleaned up. They are going to spend the next few days cleaning up loose ends around the demo area as well as buttoning up anything that could flap around in the wind while we are at break.

Demo on the roadhouse continues when wind allows. Excavator and loader are used to sort out different materials between Metal Sheeting, burnables, and unburnables. The burnables are being loaded up on a trailer and moved to the South Pit, the metal sheeting is cut up into manageable sized, stacked and set aside, and the unburnables are placed in a large Supersack per the work plan.

Demo on Roadhouse continues when wind allows. Excavator and loader are used to sort out different materials between Metal Sheeting, burnables, and unburnables. The burnables are being loaded up on a trailer and moved to the South Pit, the metal sheeting is cut up into manageable sized, stacked and set aside, and the unburnables are placed in a large Supersack per the work plan. A septic pit was found under a shack that was part of the removal plan. The pit was never previously identified. Plan to cover with demo wall or floor material and barricade. Burning in South Pit continues.
