This STARS (Strategically Targeted Affordable Roadway Solutions) study is assessing safety and operational conditions along US 23 from the US 58 BUS/US 58 ALT interchange to the US 23 BUS/Route 823 intersection to identify and propose improvements that can be incorporated into the Virginia Department of Transportation’s (VDOT) Six-Year Improvement Plan (SYIP). The purpose of the survey is to seek the public’s input on the alternatives under consideration to improve safety conditions and to improve traffic operations.
