PROJECT UPDATES

The Utah Department of Transportation’s (UDOT) 1800 North project team has completed the engineering and design of the new interchange and widening between I-15 and 2000 West. Through the summer, UDOT will finalize agreements with utility companies and nearby landowners – including Hill Air Force Base, Davis and Weber Counties Canal Company, businesses, and residents – to prepare for the advertisement to contractors this fall. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2025. 

CROSS SECTIONS

I-15 to 250 West

250 West to 2000 West

Improvements will consist of widening 1800 North to seven lanes from the interchange with I-15 to 250 West and five lanes from 250 West to 2000 West. Accommodations for bicycles and pedestrians will also be included. The engineering team is over halfway done with the design and is working on refining design details now.
