Shetland Park Redevelopment Area

Project Finalized| Proyecto Finalizado The Shetland Park Planning and Engagement Study has been completed. Shetland Park is one of the largest privately owned commercial properties in Salem. Taking place over the course of one year the City of Salem partnered with Prime Group (the owner of Shetland Park) to work with Sasaki to complete the study. The Study had over 1 200 touch points of participation via paper surveys online surveys focus groups and in-person events. Three frameworks were presented to the public for their feedback. While there were parts of all of them that were appreciated Framework B was generally the most preferred. Next steps for the project include additional outreach by the development team and finalizing their plans and designs prior to submitting applications to the City. This process is outlined further in the memo.
