Southwest Corridor - First Coast Flyer BRT
Southwest Corridor - First Coast Flyer BRT
Along the 12.9 mile route of the Southwest Corridor First Coast Flyer BRT, JTA has designated and designed 13 stations. This route was selected though a public engagement process that took into consideration many variables. The process proved effective as JTA facilitated a equitable plan to move forward with the implemention. In addition, JTA is building on its transit oriented development strategy to incorporate station area planning. Although the concepts are similar each has a particular set of nuances.
Following is a land use and character summary of each of the 13 stations. For two of the stations, a conceptual site design was developed for planning purposes and to help guide the process as JTA’s station area planning initiative moves forward.
