The Baltimore Regional Transportation Board (BRTB) has put together a $4.52 billion transportation investment program for the next 4 years and we want to know what you think about it.
There are 162 bicycle, transit, bridge, highway, pedestrian, and freight projects in this program. We also have an air quality assessment about the projects.
Check out the interactive story map or download a detailed project list at publicinput.com/BRTB-TIP.

BRTB SEEKS NEW MEMBERS FOR TRANSPORTATION CORE
The Baltimore Regional Transportation Board (BRTB) is on the lookout for new volunteers to be part of something special: the Transportation CORE (Community Outreach and Regional Engagement).
What's the Transportation CORE, you ask? Well, it's a virtual panel where folks from all around the region come together online to share their thoughts on transportation, planning, and public engagement. Key goals include:
- Giving you a voice in how BRTB tackles project planning, prioritizing initiatives, and getting the public involved.
- Making sure everyone - from rural, suburban, and urban communities - are included and a range of perspectives are included.
- Keeping our finger on the pulse of what's happening in different communities and bringing up new ideas and issues.
We are seeking neighborhood residents and business owners, transportation and equity advocates, non-profit leaders, and representatives of the various interested parties and key stakeholders that are essential to include in the planning process. If this sounds like a good fit, please apply today! Applications are welcome through June 28, 2024. Applications received after will be considered on a rolling basis.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE FOUR OPTIONS FOR THE PRG STONEY RUN TRAIL?
We are designing the Patapsco Regional Greenway: Stoney Run Trail segment and want your feedback! In January, we launched the design process and heard from community members about their ideas for features, concerns about the trail, and suggestions for making the trail beneficial for everyone.
Now, we are eager to hear from you about 4 different options for where the trail should go. We hosted a community meeting on Wednesday, May 22 in Linthicum. There is still time to tell us what you think by June 5!

BE THE DRIVER WHO SAVES LIVES - WALK, BIKE, AND DRIVE SAFE THIS SUMMER
Walking or riding a bike is a great way to get from place to place and to also get some exercise. Every one of us is a pedestrian at some point during the day and it’s important that we all do our part to share the road.
Pedestrians and bicyclists are some of the most vulnerable road users. In a crash with a car, it’s usually no contest for someone who is walking or biking. Approximately one out of every four people killed in Maryland in a traffic crash was a pedestrian on foot.
Walk smart, Bike smart, and Drive smart to keep our communities safe for everyone.
Also, May is Bike Month! Make sure you and the kids are geared up to ride with proper gear and bike safety knowledge.
