Nature play encourages exploration, creativity, and interaction with the natural environment. These spaces often incorporate natural elements to encourage physical activity, creativity, and environmental stewardship. By incorporating nature play we aim to foster a deeper appreciation for the environment and create meaningful, enjoyable play experiences for children of all ages. Through the introduction of nature play we hope to align with the context/setting of the park, honoring the natural feel of the space while providing new and interesting features for everyone to enjoy in the park.

The design team is exploring ideas to enhance the connection to nature and the unique character of the pecan grove. One possibility is a pecan shelling station. We'd love your feedback on this idea or suggestions for other features that celebrate the grove's sense of place.

The design team is moving forward with plans to include a swing set, and we're considering a design similar to the one shown below. This configuration offers versatility for a wide range of users, featuring one tot swing (A), one belt swing (B), and one nest swing (C). We'd love to hear your thoughts on this proposed design!
