The bridge needs to include a better bike/pedestrian path as part of the greenway - MUCH wider, well-lit, without twists and turns and blind corners

Presently, the walkway under the bridge is too narrow and has little to no site distance that makes it unsafe for walkers and cyclists. Also, the grade on the walkway is too low so when there is a rain event water from the creek overflows onto the walkway. If these things could be alleviated, it would be great.

The bridge drips from the concrete above. The walkway underneath has a steep incline. It'd be great to have it lowered a bit. There should be easier access to the walkway for both bikers and walkers from the top of the bridge.

Easing access for walkers & bikers from bridge to the trail, improving safety for walkers & bikers (adding a sidewalk to the bridge), protecting wildlife & ecosystem of the creek during the process.

Minimize time that the greenway below the bridge is closed for construction

Please make sure access for cars and pedestrians is available while construction is underway.

Can it also address the flooding underneath the Millbrook Rd. bridge?

Improvements to greenway underneath should be included. Flooding occurs and there is serious blind spots going around the corners.

Yes, How do we access Shelly Lake and north during construction? This area is used as part of a loop from Raleigh up to the Falls Dam and down the Neuse and back to Raleigh.

Widen and straighten as it is completely unsafe for two way, let alone mixed traffic as is.
