이스트 리버사이드 코리더 홍보대사 프로그램

시는 현재 이스트 리버사이드 지역 주민들을 앰배서더 프로그램(Ambassador Program)에 참여시킬 주민을 모집하고 있습니다. 앰배서더 프로그램은 지역 사회의 목소리를 계획 과정에 집중시키는 유급 리더십 프로그램입니다 . 자세한 내용을 확인하고 지원하려면 이스트 리버사이드 회랑 계획 이니셔티브 페이지를 방문하세요!

ETOD란 무엇인가요?

공평한 교통 지향 개발 ( ETOD )은 교통 지향 개발(TOD)로 알려진 계획 접근 방식을 기반으로 합니다. TOD는 일자리, 주택, 상품 및 서비스를 교통 정류장에서 도보 및 자전거로 이동할 수 있는 거리에 배치합니다. TOD 계획은 지역 사회가 자동차 사용을 줄이는 데 도움이 되는 동시에 더 많은 교통 옵션을 제공하여 보다 지속 가능한 이웃을 만들어냅니다.


그러나 TOD 계획은 항상 모든 사람에게 동등하게 이로운 것은 아니었습니다. ETOD는 이를 인정하고 대신 모든 오스틴 주민이 안전하고, 지원을 받고, 번창할 수 있는 자원을 갖춘 기회를 창출하고 커뮤니티를 구축함으로써 공평한 결과를 달성하기 위해 노력합니다.


오스틴 시는 CapMetro (오스틴의 교통 기관), Austin Transit Partnership (ATP) 및 커뮤니티와 협력하여 Project Connect 교통 시스템이 건설됨에 따라 공평한 교통 지향 개발을 지원하고 있습니다. Project Connect ETOD 웹사이트 에서 다기관 ETOD 노력에 대해 자세히 알아보세요.

ETOD의 목표

ETOD의 작업을 안내하는 핵심 목표는 여섯 가지입니다. 이러한 목표는 시의회의 ETOD 목표 , Nothing About Us Without Us 보고서 의 인종적 평등 동인, 그리고 지역 사회의 많은 도움에서 비롯됩니다. 이러한 목표는 ETOD가 다음을 수행해야 한다고 명시합니다.

Read: Resolution from Council, Amendment from Mayor Pro-Tem Ellis, amendment from CM Vela

Council Action: Accepted the ETOD Policy Plan as a resolution with amendments and directed City staff to:

  • Incorporate ETOD policy tools for 11 station areas in the upcoming Northeast Austin District planning process
  • Initiate amendments to the Imagine Austin Comprehensive Plan to adopt elements of the ETOD Policy Plan
  • Initiate amendments to City Code Title 25- Land Development Code
  • Begin the work to develop an ETOD Overlay and;
  • Begin the work to develop an Equity Scorecard

And, present an implementation plan that will include: 

  • tools prioritized for implementation
  • targeted outcomes for tool implementation
  • timeline for tool implementation
  • identification of funding sources and other resources for tool implementation; and
  • performance measures to assess tool implementation success
  • Update to be provided by May 26th, 2023 and full implementation plan by September 12th, 2023

City Staff Action: Incorporate amendments by Mayor Pro-Tem Ellis and CM Vela to the ETOD Policy Plan. Begin steps as directed above by Council.
