Staff Review

August 2026

After receiving feedback from the public, staff will incorporate any necessary updates to the draft.

BoCC and PC Study Session

September 2026 - exact date TBD

Staff will present the results of the summer engagement initiative and the final draft to the Board of County Commissioners and Planning Commission in a joint study session.

Planning Commission Hearing

November 2026 - tentative

The first part of the formal adoption process will be a public hearing with the Planning Commission.

Board of County Commissioners Hearing

December 2026 - tentative

The final step in the formal adoption process will be a public hearing with the Board of County Commissioners. 

Pending a December 2026 adoption, the new Development Standards and Regulations would go into affect January 1, 2027.
