A new King County Park is coming to South King County. Temporarily named Lakeland North Urban Nature Park, this new 20-acre park is located between Auburn and Federal Way in a narrow piece of Unincorporated King County. (view location in Google Maps).

Design for the park will start in fall and we want to hear from you before we begin. Please share your input in the survey below and sign up for our newsletter to stay informed as we move the park design forward.
- The new park has funding for trails, a playground, a shelter, parking, and other park features.
- As part of King County's Land Conservation Initiative the overall goal of the park is to increase access to nature and green space. Formal sport fields and sports courts will not be built but play meadows can be incorporated into the design.

- A $3.4M Land and Water Conservation Fund grant from the National Park Service, managed by Washington’s Recreation and Conservation Office.
