Taylorsville City in coordination with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), is improving mobility and safety along Redwood Road between 4100 South and 5400 South (Taylorsville City, Utah). This corridor has a significant amount of traffic and experiences vehicle conflicts, crashes and congestion due to its many commercial and public accesses. The purpose of this project is to improve traffic flow and safety, remove obstructions near the road and enhance Redwood Road corridor.

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES*

4100 South to 4450 South

  • Lane shifts and closures are in place while construction crews bore under Redwood Road and install equipment on the west side of the road for new electrical services.
  • Right turns in and out of businesses on the west side of the road will be maintained during construction.
  • Construction activities for the open trench will continue throughout June.
  • Sidewalk on the west side of Redwood Road between 4100 South and 4200 South will be closed throughout June to allow for trench-related activities.
