In the November 2024 election, Cibolo residents had the opportunity to vote on two bond propositions to determine the need for new public facilities. Both propositions were approved, with more than two-thirds of voters in favor. With this approval, the City will move forward with securing bond funding to begin construction in the near future. The City of Cibolo will seek voter approval for three bond propositions that aim to enhance essential services and accommodate our growing community. With the Cibolo City Council's approval, the following proposals will be on the November 5, 2024, ballot:
- Proposition A: Funding for the construction of an Animal Services Facility.
- Proposition B: Funding for a new Public Safety Facility with Police substation.
- Proposition C: Public Safety Tax Rate Election.
