GovCups and Chapel Hill Invite Bright Ideas for Government

In a variation of the popular “1 Million Cups” events across the country, the Town of Chapel Hill is introducing GovCups. The focus of the event is on ideas and solutions to innovate how government interacts with people. Cityzen is presenting along with local startup Pix at the event, and here’s why:

Designed to stimulate thinking about products and services that could help governments, successful pitches will address ways government can become more effective and efficient.

Similar to the strategies employed by 1 Million Cups at Research Triangle Park and Launch in Chapel Hill, the session invites pitches for solutions to opportunities of all types.

We’re looking forward to showcasing how Raleigh’s taking a big leap forward in giving thousands more residents a voice in the public process.

We also can’t wait to share some big news about a project we’ve been quietly working on for a few months now.

If you’re in the area and would love to join in on the dialog, join us on Wednesday, November 12 in Chapel Hill:

9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12
